Optimization of Adaptive Fuzzy Controller for Maximum Power Point Tracking Using Whale Algorithm

The advantage of fuzzy controllers in working with inaccurate and nonlinear inputs is that there no need for an accurate mathematical model fast convergence minimal fluctuations the maximum power point detector. capability online tracking systems power, resistance to radiation temperature changes, external sensors measure intensity temperature. However, most important issue constant changes amount sunlight cause be constantly changing. controller used (MPPT) circuit must able adapt new conditions. Therefore, this paper, more accurately track solar system receive electrical at its output, adaptive control was proposed, parameters which are optimized by whale algorithm. studies have repeated under different irradiation conditions proposed performance has been compared perturb observe algorithm (P&O) method, a practical high-performance method. To evaluate algorithm, particle swarm controller. simulation results show performs better than P&O system.
